Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in submitting images to Animals Animals/Earth Scenes.

Our Animals Animals division includes mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, insects, crustaceans, and reptilians. Behavior and outstanding portraits are both considered. Domestic animals, household pets, and people interacting with animals are incorporated into this division.

The Earth Scenes division covers the natural world beyond the animal kingdom: Plants, flowers, trees, agriculture, scenics, international locations and peoples, weather, geology, minerals, environmental issues, and so on. This broad based division includes model released adults and children.

The commission split is 50/50 between photographer and agent.

As we review portfolios, our search is for high quality collections that will further enhance our existing collection and not compete with it.  If you believe that your images will meet our needs, we ask that you prepare a digital portfolio of 200 images.

In preparing your portfolio all images must be captioned in the IPTC data, with the common and scientific name, behavior, location and other critical identifying information.  For review purposes you may submit JPG files with an image size of at least 800 x 640 pixels. Digital capture images should be shot on a 10MP camera or greater.  Your portfolio should be carefully edited and represent the quality and diversity of your collection.

Your portfolio may be sent on CD, DVD or as a link to a lightbox of images or dedicated page for your portfolio.  Please note that we will properly destroy and dispose of any disks submitted. Disks will not be returned.
