Saving Images to a Lightbox
You must be a registered user and signed in to use the Lightbox features. After a search query is completed, several images will be displayed at a time. Under each image is a hyperlink that allows you to save the image to a Lightbox.
You can create personal lightboxes to store and email images. You may add images to a lightbox as you view a search result or preview images.
Your lightboxes are kept for an indefinite period of time unless you delete them. You may have as many lightboxes as you wish, and each lightbox can have an unlimited number of images.
Using the Advanced Lightbox Manager allows you to organize and annotate images in your lightbox and many other features. View a lightbox in Advanced Lightbox mode to see additional options. Click on the ? for help.
E-mailing a Lightbox
A Lightbox can be e-mailed. The recipient will receive a hyperlink that will launch a browser and display your Lightbox. Image previews can be viewed by selecting a thumbnail. To e-mail a Lightbox, go to the Lightbox page, select a Lightbox, and then select E-mail Lightbox. You must be a registered user and be signed in before you can e-mail a Lightbox, but the person who gets the e-mail does not have to be registered to view it.
You have an option of e-mailing a dynamic or static lightbox. When you email your lightbox as dynamic, then the email message will contain a URL link to your lightbox. As you add/delete images to the lightbox, the viewer will see the changed lightbox. When you email your lightbox as static, then the email message will contain a URL link to the images that are currently in your lightbox. As you add/delete images to the lightbox, the viewer will not see the changes.
